Where does counselling take place?
Sessions take place at a comfortable, professional, home-based practice with a generous-sized therapy room, which is the first room immediately inside the front entrance.
How much do sessions cost?
My fee is currently £70 per 50 minute session. Sessions are weekly.
Payment is required in cash at each session or before each session by bank transfer. There are a very limited number of concessionary rates available for those on low incomes but please note that unfortunately I am not always able to offer them.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The P13 bus passes this practice and stops 100m away (Dunstans Road stop). Buses 63 and 363 stop less than five minutes' walk away on Forest Hill Road (Dunstans Road stop). Buses 12 and 197 stop about eight minutes' walk away on Barry Road (Underhill Road stop).
All of these buses can be caught from Peckham Rye station (the nearest mainline / London Overground station) The P13 can also be caught from East Dulwich station.
Bus frequency is usually every five to ten minutes except for the P13, which generally runs every 15 mintues. East Dulwich, Peckham Rye and Honor Oak stations are all 25-30 minutes walk away.
There are no parking restrictions in Underhill Road or nearby Dunstans Road and it is sometimes possible to park immediately outside. There are metal railings alongside the front path where a bicycle can be locked, at your own risk. There is a single step at the entrance to the property and the therapy room is immediately inside. Toilet facilities are available.
Appointments are currently daytime and evening on Monday & Tuesday (Tuesday & Wednesday on Bank Holiday Monday weeks). Sessions are normally weekly, which ensures continuity.

CANCELLATION CHARGES - Please note that a minimum of TWO WORKING DAYS' NOTICE is required for the cancellation of an appointment or the full fee will be charged. This is because if an appointment is missed or cancelled at short notice then I am unable to re-use that slot. As much notice as possible is always appreciated.
In return, in the unlikely event that I have to postpone or cancel your appointment with less than two working days' notice given, I will replace the session and you will receive it free of charge.
